Roughneck

This hands-on role involves inspecting and performing maintenance on drilling equipment and tools, as well as crucial operation of mud cleaning equipment such as shale shakers to ensure proper drilling fluid conditioning. The Roughneck also handles drill pipe and other tubulars, maintains a clean and organized work area, and strictly adheres to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols. This physically demanding position requires strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team to support safe and efficient wellbore construction.

Scope of Duties:

• Participating in drilling, rig-up, and rig-down operations.
• Inspecting the condition of drilling equipment and tools.
• Operating shale shakers and other mud cleaning/solids control equipment.
• Performing repairs and maintenance on drilling tools and equipment.
• Ensuring the correct operation and proper maintenance of tools.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area (good housekeeping).
• Strictly adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum vocational education.
• Willingness to work demanding schedules and rotational shifts / Flexibility.
