Drilling and Operations Planning Engineer (f/m)

In this multifaceted role, you will drive the entire well preparation process - from developing Facility Operations Plans and managing rig site permitting, to coordinating drilling crews and liaising with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participating in the preparation of operational documentation, with a particular focus on documents relating to the Facility Operations Plan (Plan Ruchu Zakładu).
  • Coordinating the work of the Company's organizational units regarding the approval procedure for the Operations Plan.
  • Cooperating with mining regulatory authorities, local government units, investors, and other institutions and third-party companies within the scope of assigned duties.
  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating drilling operations (including cooperation with third-party service companies/contractors), as well as providing technical and substantive supervision over their execution.
  • Preparing and verifying work schedules (rosters) for rig crews, ensuring the completeness of personnel required to execute drilling and workover operations.
  • Collaborating with organizational unit managers on workforce planning.
  • Supervising civil engineering and site documentation, including:
    • Preparing notifications and applications for building permits,
    • Developing and updating maps (including plotting construction structures and drilling pad layouts / rig site layouts),
    • Overseeing land leases,
    • Coordinating the documentation approval process and implementing necessary amendments,
    • Updating documentation with public administration authorities,
    • Participating in site inspections (prior to, during, and upon completion of works),
    • Organizing and supervising geodetic surveying (land surveying).
  • Coordinating the preparation of timesheets and work logs for Drilling Department personnel.
  • Supervising the document workflow and archiving processes within the Drilling Department.
  • Providing ongoing administrative and operational support to line managers.
Our Requirements:
  • Higher technical education (graduates of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków are highly preferred).
  • A Certificate of Qualification as an Operations Supervisor (osoba dozoru ruchu) for facilities executing geological works for the exploration or appraisal of mineral deposits (other than hydrocarbons) and groundwater treated as minerals – will be a strong asset.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, Corel Draw, and AutoCAD.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Working proficiency in English (communicative level).
  • High availability / Readiness to travel.
